Obituary: Laura L. Yatsinko, 67, Of Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — (From Adzima Funeral Home): Laura L. Yatsinko, 67, of Stratford, beloved wife of Richard Yatsinko, passed away on December 27, 2023, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport.

Laura was born in Bridgeport on August 2, 1956, to the late John and Rachel (DiMeo) Laufer and had been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Stratford High School, class of 1974.

Survivors in addition to her beloved husband of 41 years include her devoted children, Daniel Yatsinko and his wife Liz of Stratford, and Sarah Yatsinko and her fiancé Giria DeAza of Milford, 4 cherished grandchildren, Eric, Charlotte, Addison and Aiden, sisters, Nancy Anzalone and her husband Mario and Barbara Lill, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Laura was pre-deceased by her son, Stephen.

Friends may greet the family from 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2024, in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 5th at 10 a.m. meeting directly at Our Lady of Peace Church in Lordship. Inurnment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lordship.
