Partial Beach Closures Coming This Week In Stratford

STRATFORD, CT — Sections of Short Beach will be closed this week, according to a Facebook post from Mayor Laura Hoydick. The closures are the result of a sand replenishment project set to start at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Certain areas of the beach will be closed over the course of a few days as the work progresses, but the beach will stay open and the project is not expected to disturb visitors, the mayor wrote.
