Realtor Receives Probation For Christmas Eve Burglary In Stratford: Report

The real estate agent was accused of burglarizing a recently deceased man's home on Christmas Eve.

STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford real estate agent accused of burglarizing a dead man’s home on Christmas Eve has been granted probation, according to the Connecticut Post.

Daniel Tepfer of the Post reports that John Rose Jr., 49, was granted accelerated rehabilitation over the objections of prosecutors. He was placed on two years’ probation under the program and the original charges against him will be dismissed if he commits no other crimes. Stratford Police responded to a Lordship Road home on Christmas Eve on the report of two men carrying large sacks from the home of a man who had recently died, according to the Post. Officers arrived at the scene as Rose and the other man, Raymond Feliciano Jr., 47, of New Britain, were about to drive off.
