St. Mark Plans Outdoor Mass
St. Mark Plans Outdoor Mass to Bring Faith Community Together for Worship and Fellowship.

The St. Mark Parish and School Community will be hosting an Outdoor Mass on Corpus Christi Sunday, June 2nd, at 9:30am, in Stratford, CT.
St. Mark Pastor, Rev. Birendra Soreng, along with the Parish Council and many other heads of ministries are leading the effort to plan an outdoor celebration of faith, worship, and fellowship on the Great Lawn. Parishioners are invited to bring family and friends with them to encounter Jesus. Light refreshments will be served following Mass.
Kristen Rosati, a St. Mark parishioner and school parent who is also on the Outdoor Mass Committee shared, “Our parish and school community are really looking forward to coming together in our beautiful outdoor space to celebrate the end of a successful school year, the kickoff to summer and most importantly, the Holy Eucharist.”

The students at St. Mark School were thrilled when they heard the news of the Outdoor Mass. The Graduating Eighth Grade Class will be leading the Mass, along with music from the St. Mark Children’s Choir.
St. Mark School Principal Melissa Warner commented, “The idea of an Outdoor Mass is aligned with Bishop Caggiano’s ‘The One,’ our commitment to focus every aspect of the Church on bringing individuals closer to God. Celebrating Mass outdoors is an exciting opportunity to accompany and support each other on our faith journeys.”
