Stolen Lexus Flees Stratford Cops; 2 Teens In Custody: Police

STRATFORD, CT — Two teens were taken into custody early Tuesday afternoon after a stolen car was involved in a police chase out of Stratford and crashed into a law enforcement cruiser in Fairfield, according to authorities.

The incident began when Stratford police followed the 2012 Lexus into Fairfield, law enforcement said. When the runaway car tried to navigate around Fairfield police, it rammed a law enforcement vehicle, according to authorities.

The stolen car was eventually stopped on southbound Exit 23 of Interstate 95, and 18-year-old Priscilla Vongkeomany was detained, as was a juvenile teen girl, police said. Vongkeomany, who was the driver, was charged with third-degree larceny and second-degree trover, according to police.
