STRATFORD, CT — Stratford police are seeking help from the public to identify a large group of people photographed riding what appear to be all-terrain vehicles, scooters, and motorbikes or bicycles together across one lane of a road, sometimes passing the center line.

Police posted a slideshow of the images as a video on Facebook along with contact information where viewers can send tips. Some of the pictures capture drivers doing wheelies with the ATVs or wearing masks, and certain images appear to show children among the group. The video does not identify the date or location of the photographs.

The post Thursday follows an announcement from the department earlier this month, which said police were working to address concerns about reckless bicycling in town. Complaints in the last two years grew so numerous that the town adopted stricter ordinances and penalties for violations, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call 203-385-4119 or submit a tip at Tips411.
