Stratford Farmers Market Opens Monday With New Coronavirus Rules

Shoppers are asked to bring a face mask and maintain a 6-foot distance from other customers.

STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford Farmers Market starts its 2020 season Monday, with a few new policies due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“The market may look a bit different this year, but we are committed to providing a safe shopping experience for all customers,” said a flier included in the mayor’s daily e-blast to residents.

The farmers market will run 2 to 6 p.m. every Monday at Paradise Green. Shoppers are asked to bring a face mask and maintain a 6-foot distance from other customers. The market may limit the number of shoppers in certain areas at one time. Reusable bags are allowed.
