Stratford Football Star Fights For Life After Motorcycle Crash: Report

A former Stratford High football standout, and college football player, was critically injured in a crash last week, according to a report.

STRATFORD, CT — A former Stratford High School football star is fighting for his life after being critically injured in a motorcycle crash last week in Stratford, according to News12 Connecticut.

News12 Connecticut reports Markey DesRuisseaux, 30, was struck by a car that tried to turn the wrong way down a one-way street at Main and West Broad streets.

Family members told News12 Connecticut that they are frustrated because they haven’t received any information from officials about the crash.

DesRuisseaux was a standout quarterback at Stratford High School, and also played defensive back at Snow College.
