CHRIS PETHERICK, owner of Wild Birds, Unlimited of Fairfield, returns to the Library with a special program on identifying and feeding winter birds. Bird feeding is most helpful at times when birds need the most energy, such as during temperature extremes, migration, and in late winter or early spring, when natural seed sources are depleted.
This program, special for "National Bird Feeding Month", will include an optional Grab & Go kit (for the first 30 registrants) to make winter birdseed feeders. Those interested should answer “YES” on the registration form to be contacted and scheduled for a Grab & Go pick-up. Supplies are limited.
