Stratford Man Accused Of Shooting Rival In Dispute Over Woman: Report

The man was out on bail and awaiting trial in an unrelated case at the time of the shooting, according to a report.

STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford man is accused of shooting another man in a dispute over a woman, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports Bryant Pettway, 35, who was out on bail and awaiting trial on robbery and assault charges in an unrelated case, was arrested Tuesday in connection with the shooting.

The 33-year-old victim, who was hospitalized after being shot in the leg, didn’t cooperate with the investigation but police said his family did, according to the Post.
