Stratford Museums Month Returns
As part of Stratford Museums Month, each museum offers a special, such as discounted or free admission, or other discounts, officials said.
From Town of Stratford
STRATFORD, CT — The Town of Stratford is proud of its distinction as home to more museums than most other towns in the State of Connecticut – 11 and growing.
“In celebration, we are showcasing our museums during the entire month of June once again this year,” officials wrote in a news release. “As part of Stratford Museums Month, each museum will offer a special, such as discounted or free admission, a discount on merchandise, etc.”

A highlight of Stratford Museums Month is the “Hidden Gems Passport,” which will be available at each museum, the Stratford Public Library and Town Hall throughout the month of June.
While visiting a museum, patrons are encouraged to get their passports stamped. As each stamp constitutes a chance to win the coveted Museums Swag Bag, we challenge visitors to tour each museum (although incomplete passports are still eligible).

At the conclusion of the campaign, visitors should email pictures of their passports to museums@townofstratford.com or drop them off at Town Hall, Room 118.
“Stratford is home to so many unique museums, each with a story to tell,” Stratford Mayor Laura R. Hoydick said. “So come, explore, and learn the stories of those upon whose shoulders we stand.”
