Stratford Police Charge Radio Station Director with Stealing Electricity
The woman is accused of receiving about $5,600 worth of electricity at her apartment without paying for it.

A Stratford woman, who is the studio director of WDJZ in Bridgeport, is accused of stealing about $5,600 worth of electricity since 2011, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports that Iesha Bryant, 35, of Avon Street, was charged Tuesday after police discovered that the electric meter at her apartment had been altered enabling her to get power without paying for it.
Bryant had been in the apartment since 2007 but her electricity was shut off in 2011 for nonpayment, according to the Post.

Investigators from UI discovered that the meter had been tampered with when they were inspecting it last April, according to the Post.
