Stratford Police K-9 Meet & Greet Event To Be Held

STRATFORD, CT — Residents can meet Stratford Police K-9 Vader in an event Thursday at Adams Hometown Market in Milford.

The Hometown Foundation, Inc. is hosting a meet and greet with handler Stratford Police Officer Joseph Maverley and K-9 Vader from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15 at Adams Hometown Market at 1391 New Haven Avenue in Milford.

“K-9 Vader was donated in August 2023 in partnership with Adams Hometown Markets, thanks to their participation in the Police K-9 Awareness Fundraiser,” according to a news release. “In-store donations are collected at the register in all 18 Adams Hometown Market locations and this collective fundraiser has been able to raise enough funds to help cover three K-9 donations in 2023.

“Please come down and show your support to Adams Hometown Markets for stepping up and helping a neighboring community in need.”
