Stratford Police Warn Residents Of New TikTok Challenge
Police said a new challenge that targets certain vehicles is circulating on social media.
STRATFORD, CT — Stratford police are advising residents of a new TikTok challenge that targets certain vehicles.
“There is a new challenge circulating TikTok that targets Kia & Hyundai vehicles - specifically older models that DO NOT utilize a ‘push to start’ ignition (2021 & prior),” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “There have been reports of this occurring in the area.
“As a reminder please LOCK the doors of your car, DO NOT leave keys in your vehicle, and if you have an alarm USE it.”
