Stratford Psychic Accused Of Defrauding Client Out Of $56K: Report
The client told police she paid the psychic nearly $56,000 to rid herself of "negative energies" but believed she was taken advantage of.
STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford psychic faces a larceny charge after she was accused of defrauding a woman out of nearly $56,000, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports Sherry Frank, 51, who operates the Paradise Psychic out of her home, was recently arrested on a charge of second-degree larceny.
The woman told police that she went to the Paradise Psychic several times in an effort to get rid of “negative energies” that were affecting her life and ultimately paid Frank $55,995, but believed she had been taken advantage of, according to the Post.
