STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford resident recently won $500,000 on a scratch ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
The resident, who wished to remain anonymous, won $500,000 on a $4,000,000 Fortune scratch ticket that was sold at Wheels #174 at 18 Old Stratford Rd. in Shelton, according to Lottery officials.
The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
