Stratford Rotary Hosts BBQ Rib Night This Week

STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford Rotary will offer an evening of culinary delights on Friday when it hosts Johnny’s Famous BBQ Rib Night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Vazzano's Four Seasons Restaurant, 337 Kenyon St. in Stratford.

Proceeds from the rain or shine event will benefit Homes for the Brave, Stratford Veterans Museum, and the Stratford VFW.

"Stratford Rotary's Johnny’s Famous BBQ Rib Night is an evening filled with music, food, fun, and dancing," organizers wrote in a statement. "We gather as a community to break bread, enjoy each other's company, and raise funds that will benefit our Stratford Community, specifically we are honoring our Stratford Veterans."

The event will have gift basket Silent Auction items, and a Raffle for prizes. According to organizers, past items and prizes up for grabs have included an Orlando Time Share Weekend, top shelf liquor basket and a scratch-off lottery ticket wheel. Additionally, a 50/50 raffle will be drawn at the end of the evening. A player must be present to win the raffle prizes. Pre-purchase your tickets here.
