Stratford’s ‘Hidden Gems’ Campaign Launches On Museum Day
All museum fees are waived on Stratford Museum Day, however, donations are greatly appreciated, officials said.

STRATFORD, CT — Stratford is launching its “Hidden Gems” campaign on the town’s inaugural Museum Day on June 11. The launch is sponsored by the Economic and Community Development Commission.
On Stratford Museum Day, all museum fees are waived, however, donations are greatly appreciated, according to officials.
“Most people are not aware that, in addition to our abundant natural resources, Stratford is home to nine museums,” Mayor Laura R. Hoydick said. “The Hidden Gem’s concept invites the Stratford community and our neighbors to explore Stratford’s diverse museums and our spectacular waterfront and forest.”

Stratford Hidden Gems posters and postcards will be placed throughout town in the coming weeks, according to officials. The digital home of the campaign can be viewed at www.stratfordhiddengems.com, which features an interactive map linking users to each location’s website.
