Stratford Shooting Injures 1, Police Say

Police are seeking information as they investigate a shooting that occurred Thursday in Stratford.

STRATFORD, CT — Police are seeking information as they investigate a shooting that injured a person Thursday in Stratford, according to law enforcement.

Officers responded about 8:30 p.m. to Birch Drive, where they found a female gunshot victim, Stratford police said in a news release. The victim was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition, according to police.

“This was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the general public,” the news release said.

The suspect is a male last seen wearing dark clothing, according to police.
