Stratford Shooting Suspect Arrested In Virginia
The man faces an attempted murder charge in connection to a shooting in which the victim was critically injured.
STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford man wanted in connection to a shooting last Thursday night was located in Virginia and arrested after a standoff that lasted several hours, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports David Williams, 39, was arrested Sunday and charged with first-degree assault and criminal attempt to commit murder and several other charges.
The arrest is in connection to a shooting that occurred in the 700 block of Success Avenue in Stratford on Thursday night. Police said the victim was shot twice in the torso and was in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital.
