Stratford Teen Shot In Leg In Bridgeport: Police
The shooting occurred Thursday night on Trumbull Avenue, according to Bridgeport police.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — A 16-year-old Stratford victim was injured Thursday, when the teen was shot in the leg in the 500 block of Trumbull Avenue in Bridgeport, according to police.
The shooting occurred just after 8 p.m. Bridgeport police received a ShotSpotter alert that nine rounds had been fired on Trumbull Avenue, and a short while later, the 16-year-old showed up at an area hospital, suffering from the leg wound. The injury is not considered to be a threat to the teen's life.
The victim’s parent/guardian was notified and responded to the hospital; no additional details were disclosed.
