Victim Injured, Suspect Detained After Stratford Shooting: Police
'The shooting was an isolated incident and there is no danger to residents,' Stratford police said in a news release.

STRATFORD, CT — A victim was injured and a suspect was detained in connection with a shooting Saturday in Stratford, according to police.
Officers responded just before noon to the 800 block of East Broadway, a police news release said. Upon arrival, they learned that at least two shots were fired and a male victim was taken to a local hospital, according to the news release, which said police also located a gun and identified a suspect, who was detained.
"The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information at this time," the news release said. "The shooting was an isolated incident and there is no danger to residents."
