Water Main Cleaning Set For Several Streets In Stratford
Officials are advising residents that the water main on several streets will be cleaned on Thursday night.
STRATFORD, CT — Aquarion will be cleaning the water main on several streets in Stratford on Thursday night, according to Mayor Laura Hoydick.
The work will begin at 7 p.m. and is expected to last around six to eight hours, according to Hoydick. Aquarion said customers have been notified via Reverse 911.
“You may want to store tap water in the refrigerator ahead of time for drinking and cooking,” Hoydick wrote in a post on Facebook. “If your water is discolored, delay washing clothes until it is clear. For other questions, please call their Customer Service at 1-800-732-9678. Surroundings streets may be impacted by the water main cleaning.”
