The Suffield Players are making artistic magic for their 142nd production: Deathtrap by Ira Levin, which performs in February at Mapleton Hall in Suffield. This show
culminates The Players’ 60th Anniversary year as a community theatre group.
Set designers Konrad Rogowski and Kelly Seip, along with Technical Director Jerry Zalewski, are the coordinators of a talented group of artists and technical volunteers who meet Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings to create the background for this classic murder mystery.
The Deathtrap set features beautiful weathered barn doors integrated into a renovated barn-to-author’s library, multiple-level performance areas, and a faux-fieldstone fireplace made from scrap wood, recycled Styrofoam, and the imagination of artist Kelly Seip.
