- The Assumption College Department of Athletics has announced that Mariah Peck, of Suffield, has earned a spot on the 2017-18 Assumption College women's track and field team. Peck, Class of 2018, will compete during the Greyhounds' indoor season this winter, which began in early December, and the outdoor season, which opens on March 23 at for the Bridgewater State University Bears invitational.

- Ben A Elmore of Suffield, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester at Clarkson University. Dean's List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.
Lasell College, Newton MA
- Lasell College in Newton, Mass. has announced students named to the fall 2017 Dean's List. Students with this accomplishment are full-time degree candidates who completed 12 or more credits in the fall semester, with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. - Tunxis Community College in Farmington has announced the names of those students who have qualified for the Dean’s List for the fall 2017 semester. Students matriculated in a certificate or degree program who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher and have successfully completed 12 or more credits, or have earned 12 credits cumulatively over multiple semesters, are eligible for this academic honor. University of New Hampshire, Durham NH
- A trio of students from Suffield have been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the fall 2017 semester: Reilly Williams, High Honors; Ashley Price, High Honors; and Taylor Daigle, Highest Honors. Students named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance during a semester enrolled in a full-time course load (12 or more graded credits). Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.
University of Scranton, Scranton PA
- Timothy Dodds of Suffield was among more than 1,600 students named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2017 fall semester. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean's List. Dodds is a senior psychology major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.

- Camron Clark of Suffield was named to the Dean's List at Western Connecticut State University for the fall 2017 semester.
