Even More Spelling Snafus on Signs [PHOTOS]
The latest installment in a series taking a lighthearted look at some spelling gaffes on various signs and menus in the region.

Due to popular demand from readers, we present the latest installment of spelling mistakes on signs throughout the region.
Mistakes have been found on all types of signs, ranging from professionally-produced business banners to menus to handwritten cardboard signs installed with duct tape, spotted in various local towns. Misspelled words in today's collection include "gretting," "resturant," "selzter," "purchace" and "souse."
Have fun perusing the latest lighthearted "gallery of gaffes," published with no intention of embarrassing anyone (business name references are omitted). If you are out and about and spot another good one, email it to tim.jensen@patch.com.

Perhaps the previous place could have borrowed a vowel from the excessive amount shown in "root beeer" - on another note, who is Swewart?

Which franchise do they mean, Chick-fil-A or KFC?

I don't know of anyone who has gotten soused from Buffalo, Teriyaki or BBQ.

I can see paying $2 per slice, but per lic? That'll cost a pretty penny.

I never purchace anything based on roadside signage.

What is the penalty if you steal a tray?

Spiked selzter, as opposed to straight-up selzter.

Someone could use a copy of "Hooked On Phonics."

Even Netflix gets in on the act with these gems. Angle? Santan Clais? Silnt?

We know this last one isn't a spelling error, but rather an unfortunate juxtaposition of signs with conflicting messages. It's probably not likely many people will apply online for a job at a store which will soon be closing.
