Suffield's Weekend Weather Forecast Includes Chance of Showers, Thunderstorms

We could wish that today’s forecast is what we’d end up with for Saturday. Before we get to the weekend though, we’re looking at a picture perfect weather day on Thursday with sunny skies and temps in the high 60s to 70 degrees.

Friday is even slightly better with sunny skies and temps around 70 degrees.

Saturday probably will be the worst of the two days as showers and thunderstorms are possible early in the morning, and then it will be mostly cloudy for the remainder of the day.

The sun will return on Sunday and with high temperatures approaching the mid 70s.

Here is Suffield’s latest hyperlocal forecast from the National Weather Service:

• Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 42. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
• Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 76. Calm wind becoming southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.
• Friday night: A chance of showers, mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. South wind 6to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
• Saturday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. Southwest wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
• Saturday night: A chance of showers, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
• Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 79.
