Your Back-to-Work Weather Forecast is Missing Something Again

The National Weather Service says despite the change in seasons this week, summer is holding on for now.

For the second straight week rain is absent from not only the work week forecast but the projected 7-day forecast.

So our already moderate drought like conditions for parts of Connecticut will continue to worsen in the short term. We’re running about 5 inches of rainfall below normal, the Connecticut Post reports.

And the 7-day forecast shows that despite the upcoming change in season, summer is still holding on for now.

It will be sunny skies the entire week, except on Tuesday when the skies will be most cloudy.

It will feel a bit like fall at night with temps falling into the mid 50s at night.
