• New Charges Lodged Against Motorist In Serious 2025 Old Lyme Crash (patch.com) — Residents in Lyme and Old Lyme may recall the serious 2025 Four Mile River Road crash that left a 23-year-old Old Lyme man badly injured; the driver now faces new felony charges. State police say the Plainfield woman was speeding and under the influence before striking a utility pole, and she has posted bond ahead of a New London court appearance.
