Detour, Power Outages After East Lyme Crash

EAST LYME, CT — About eight percent of Eversource customers in East Lyme are without power after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole on Giants Neck Road Thursday morning.

The dead end road is closed as work is done to replace the pole, according to East Lyme authorities.

The outage has affected 775 customers as of 1:30 p.m., according to Eversource.
