This class will begin with the construction of a seated or standing armature, working from the female form. Students will choose between oil- or water-based clay as they sculpt the figure. Weekly demonstrations along with a discussion of proportions, modelling techniques and anatomy will be presented. Various finishing techniques will be covered at the end of the course.
