Free summer program will be a "Galactic Blast"

NIANTIC – There will be a Galactic Blast during the week of July 11-15th this year when Vacation Bible School takes off at Niantic Community Church. From 9-12 each day children from pre-school through fourth grade will participate in the free community offering that has been a part of the Niantic summer landscape for decades. Although many families within the church participate, many families from surrounding areas as well as summer visitors take advantage of the program that is open to everyone.

The program will have five stations, including Cosmic Crafts, Good News Galaxy, and Moons and Tunes. Children will learn a mission story with a space connection and Bible Booster memory verse, make a craft to take home, learn fun songs and games, and enjoy delicious snacks each day of the Cosmic Adventure.

“This combination of fun and faith will bring children and volunteers alike, into a closer relationship with God,” said Interim Christian Education Minster, Pam McCauley who is co-chairing the event with Brain Tucker. “Our youth and adult volunteers provide a fun and safe environment for everyone.”
