Lyme Announces Town-Wide Roadside Clean-Up

From The Town of Lyme:The Town of Lyme announced today that, in observance of Earth Day, it has joined with the Lyme Public Hall Association to sponsor a town-wide roadside clean-up effort from April 1 to April 22 (Earth Day).

Residents who volunteer to help collect litter that has accumulated along town roads over the winter can pick up free plastic trash bags at following locations after April 1:

• Hadlyme Country Store (corner of Ferry Road and Route 82)
• Reynolds Store (254 Hamburg Road)
• Lyme Public Library
• Lyme Town Hall

Volunteers simply leave the filled trash bags along the roadside for pick up by the Town.
The Town is supplying bags for regular trash and blue trash bags for recyclable bottles and
cans.
