Find out how much he raised.

After biking across the United States, an Old Lyme resident has raised more than $40,000 for youth cycling programs, The Day reported.
Mark Johnston crossed through 13 states, a journey that took 30 days and ended on May 19, according to The Day. He is a board member for the CT Cycling Advancement Program.
Johnston, 58, has worked as a banker and was the president of Van Wagner Communications until 2014, according to The Day. The money raised from his journey could provide CCAP funding to start four or five new middle and high school cycling programs.
