Old Lyme Resident Wins $100,000 Off Jumbo Bucks Ticket
After purchasing a ticket from a Big Y, he and his trusty dog soon found themselves on their way to riches.

ROCKY HILL, CT– Retired Old Lyme resident Jim Dudla knew fortune was on his side the day he won the $100,000 prize on “Jumbo Bucks” instant game ticket.
“I had a hunch—a feeling—that I was going to win today,” Dudla said in a release.
Initially, Dudla went to a local CT Lottery Retailer to play a different scratch ticket, only to stumble upon “Jumbo Bucks” at the instant ticket vending machine. Dudla played the winning ticket in his truck alongside his dog named, “Boo.”

“I saw the ‘coin’ symbol [on the ticket] with $100,000 and thought ‘That’s pretty cool,’” Dudla said. “I looked at Boo and said—‘We’re going for a ride.’”
Dudla is looking forward to making retirement even more enjoyable. “I’ll put the winnings in savings—it’s a good cushion.”
