On Friday, a woman was killed after pulling over to the shoulder of Interstate 95 to check on her child, and police said they are <a href="http://wtnh.com/2016/12/02/a-renewed-call-for-driver-and-highway-safety-after-fatal-accident/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">seeing a lot of these types of accidents</a>, according to News 8. East Lyme First Selectman Mark Nickerson said these incidents are always caused by driver error.
