Shred Day Set For East Lyme May 12

EAST LYME, CT — The East Lyme Police Department has scheduled a Shred Day on May 12, the proceeds of which will benefit the department's Benevolent Association, according to a post on the department's Facebook page.

Co-hosted by Proshred Connecticut, the event will be held at East Lyme Community Center on Society Road in Niantic from 9 a.m. to noon.

The event is open to the public, and organizers request a donation of $10 per boxful to be shredded.
