An Ice Fishing Derby will be taking place today during Winterfest 2011 festivities at Sun Valley, a benefit for the Channel 3 Kids Camp. The Kids Derby fee is $10 and includes a free fishing pole and trophies for winners. The Adult Derby fee is $20 and includes prizes of Cabelas gift cards for winners. The pond is stocked with trout, courtesy of Cabela's.
