Lane Closures on I-84 in Tolland Monday and Tuesday

If you’re traveling on Interstate 84 through Tolland on Monday or Tuesday, be prepared for lane closures in both directions, both days.

But the closures — in connection with the Connecticut Department of Transportation’s bridge inspection program — are only supposed to take place at times between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday.

The alternating left and right lane closures will be between Exits 67 and 68 both days.

In addition, also on Monday, alternating right and left lane closures are scheduled for Interstate 384 in Bolton between the end of I-384 and Exit 4 sometime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. (If, for some reason, the project can’t be done that day, Thursday is the alternative day).

Elsewhere, later in the week

These other stretches of highway in the Hartford area will experience lane closures this week, also for bridge inspections:

Wednesday — In Hartford, the eastbound Exit 52 ramp to the Interstate 91 southbound lanes will have a shoulder closed from 10 a.m. to noon.

Also on Wednesday, also in Hartford, there will be alternating left and right lane closures on Interstate 91 southbound lanes and northbound lanes between Exits 32A and 33.

On Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Hartford there will be alternating left and right lane closures of the Interstate 84 on and off ramps from and to Capitol Avenue.
