LETTER: Colleen Yudichak for Tolland BOE

I am pleased to write this letter on behalf of Colleen Yudichak, a Republican candidate for election to the Board of Education. I have known Colleen for seven years; we met when our children were in preschool together, and we have worked together at Star Hill for three years.

I have watched her progress from a woman concerned about her own children’s journeys through school, into an active community member, staunch in her belief that all children’s welfare must be prioritized. She has been a Tolland Elementary PTO board member for three years including being a Co-President, for the past year she has been on the Board of Education. She works tirelessly, and I believe that her love for this community and dedication to seeking solutions for strengthening this community would be an asset for all of us.

I have the privilege of calling her my friend and can say without a doubt that she is a person of strong moral character, operates with integrity, and never has a negative word to say about anyone. I believe Colleen Yudichak is without a doubt the member the Board of Education needs to keep moving forward in the positive manner we all need - for us as a community, for our schools, and for our children.
