Man Hurt In Fall From Bucket Truck In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — A 45-year-old man was hurt when he fell from a bucket truck while conducting maintenance on an overhead canopy at 404 Merrow Road Saturday, fire officials and state police said.

The man fell about 10 feet, authorities said.

The incident took place at 4:23 p.m. and the man was taken to Hartford Hospital via Life Star helicopter, fire and state police officials said. He was listen in critical condition late Saturday afternoon.
