Sections of Roadway in Tolland Designated As Scenic By State

TOLLAND, CT — Two sections of roadway in Tolland have been designated scenic roads in Connecticut.

The state Department of Transportation made it official on Sept. 26 with an endorsement from its Scenic Road Advisory Committee.

The sections of road are:

• Route 74: A 3.1-mile stretch from Merrow Road, west to a point 200 feet west of Gottier Road.
• Route 195: a .37-mile section from a point 150 feet south of the Cider Mill Connector north to Tolland Stage Road.
