The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Tolland is almost entirely dependent on single family homes on large lots. We need to diversify our housing stock to provide more opportunities for young adults, seniors, and and the workforce. This will enhance the tax base and provide more customers for local businesses.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

The Republican PZC members and candidates have pushed a strongly pro-business agenda. In contrast and I believe our zoning regulations must balance thoughtful commercial and multi-family development with enhancing the quality of life for all Tolland residents.

Accomplishments:

In over 8 years as a member of the Tolland PZC, including 4 years as vice-chair, and I have been able to work effectively with my colleagues from both parties to forge compromises that benefit all residents. I am familiar with the issues and how the commission operates.

Other issues:

Tolland's zoning regulations should encourage sustainable development that protects our environment and and should support walkable communities for residents of all ages

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I will work hard for all current and future residents and to make Tolland a great place to live for decades to come.
