Tolland Girls Cross Country Races into Second Place
The team competed at the Ocean State Invitational on Saturday.
The Tolland girls cross country team earned the second place spot at the Ocean State Invitational on Saturday.
Despite a muddy course, the team made a strong showing, according to coach Judi Lafontaine. Senior Emily Howard placed third with a time of 20:12, Lafontaine said. She added that freshman Courtney Akerly came in fourth at 20:16.
For the junior varsity team, freshman Molly Kozlowski placed fourth at 22:10.
