Tolland Officials to Address Blight Concerns
A community conversation about the issue of blight is scheduled for Nov. 12.
The issue of blight has become a topic of concern in Tolland, prompting town officials to schedule a community conversation to address the problem.
Officials are seeking input on what is considered blight, the benefits and challenges of having a blight ordinance, and how a blight ordinance might be applied if adopted. The results of the meeting will be used by a committee set up to study this issue.
The meeting is slated for Thursday, Nov. 12 from 7-9 p.m. at the Fire Training Center, 191 Merrow Rd.
