Tolland Team Eliminated from District 8 Tournament

The 11-year-old All-Stars lost to Thompsonville, forcing them out of the double elimination bracket.

Tolland lost to Thompsonville, 13-8, on Monday night, eliminating the All-Stars from the District 8 Tournament.

Team Manager Rob Keane said that the loss was disappointing, but that he is still proud of the hard-working team.

"Thompsonville is a good team that swung the bats really well early in the game, but as I told my team, we were extremely proud of how they did not quit and kept coming back throughout the game," Keane said.  "They really thought that they could win, and we made it close, and we can't ask for anything more than that."
