The turnout was 17.27 percent, slightly better than last year, Democratic Registrar of Voters Michael Wyman said.
Wyman said a meeting of town officials is scheduled for Thursday to determine a revised budget, which then puts the next referendum on May 17. The polls will be open for those who wish to vote in-person from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Tolland Recreation Center. Absentee ballots will be available at the Hicks Municipal Center, most likely early next week, he said.
