SOMERS, CT — A car was reported stolen from a driveway on Michele Drive in Somers. The resident reported it to state police at 8 a.m. It was part of several thefts and break-ins on the July 4 weekend, state police said. A group of "young adults" is suspected to have taken part in the spree, according to state police.
TOLLAND, CT — Scott Cummings, 52, of Madison, was charged with reckless driving, driving while under suspension, driving under the influence, criminal impersonation and interfering with police, according to a report. He was clocked at 97 mph on Interstate-84 eastbound at 4:06 p.m., according to a report.

MANSFIELD, CT — Matthew Lepore, 28, of Willimantic, was charged with driving under the influence, speeding and a turn violation at 3:02 a.m., according to a report. He was speeding as he turned from Route 32 to Route 195 and was pulled over, according to a report.
MANSFIELD, CT — Chance Davis, 23, of Storrs, was charged with driving under the influence, and lane and headlamp violations, according to a report. He failed sobriety tests after being pulled over on Route 32 at 9:27 p.m., according to a report.

SOMERS, CT — State police located several emplty alcohol containers inside a vehicle after responding to a suspicious vehicle call at the Route 186-Bilton Road intersection, according to a report. Joshua Patsun, 24, of Stafford, was charged with driving under the influence, according to a report. The incident was at 4:55 a.m., a report shows.

STAFFORD, CT — Thomas Burke, 48, of Somers, was charged with sixth-degree larceny via a warrant, according to a report. He is accused of taking gift cards and cash from a residence in Glastonbury, according to a report.

WILLINGTON, CT — Joseph Morgillo, 30, of Branford, was charged with engaging police in a pursuit, reckless driving, second-degree reckless endangerment and a variety of motor vehicle violations, according to a report. He is accused of sending threatening messages via social media to a woman he previously had a relationship with, according to a report.
