SOMERS, CT — A car raveling south on School Street slammed into a fence at 8:12 p.m., state police said. According to a crash report. The the 52-year-old driver had the car stopped at a stop sign at the Maple Street intersection, proceeded forward, then veered off the road, according to a report.
TOLLAND, CT — Aidan Metzler, 23, of Vernon, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane after being pulled over on Interstate-84 at 1:37 a.m., according to an arrest report. He was traveling westbound just prior to Exit 67 and was observed crossing into the shoulder several times and hitting the rumble strips, according to an arrest report. He then failed sobriety tests, state police said in a report.

Jan. 13
TOLLAND, CT — Brandon Dorsey, 26, of Ashford, was arrested after a crash on Route 195 in Tolland, according to a report. He was traveling southbound at 11:35 p.m. about 50 feet north of the Goose Lane interchange when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a traffic sign, according to a report.
