Wayward Sheep Rescued In Tolland
Wandering sheep were recently rescued from a Tolland neighborhood.

TOLLAND, CT — A pair of wandering sheep was recently rescued from a Tolland neighborhood.
The rescue was documented in the December town manager's report.
Animal control officers, several residents and a cattle dog named “Jasper” teamed up to round up the two sheep that had been loose for five days, according to the report.

The sheep were from Crystal Lake Road and had been on Cervens Road, Doyle Road, and eventually made it to the Birch Hill area, where they were captured and secured in a livestock trailer, according to a report.
